The founders of sustainable spirit Avallen Calvados have today (22 July) launched their exciting crowdfunding campaign with a goal of raising £175,001 for 8.05% equity to further grow their successful drinks business. They are actively seeking investors large and small who want to support and capitalise on the growing consumer thirst for delicious, sustainable brands doing things the right way. Sustainable business was already in 2019 a $2.5 trillion market and by 2030 this is predicted to grow to $12 trillion worldwide. There is growing demand for sustainable drinks and products and the consumer culture of embracing eco-conciousness is on the increase across all age groups, but in particular the under 50s.
Drinks industry experts Stephanie Jordan and Tim Etherington-Judge founded the multi award-winning Avallen in May 2019. They have created a road map to plan the future success of the brand on a global level.

Avallen, meaning ‘apple tree’ in old Cornish, is a spirit designed with sustainability & environmental positivity at its very core. Produced in Normandy, France, Avallen is made from nothing but apples, water and time and is aged in French oak barrels for 2 years. Avallen is completely natural with no added sugar or artificial additives; the liquid is fresh, fruity & proudly apple-forward.
The entire production process, from the pesticide free apple orchards to the labels made from waste apple pulp and lightweight bottle, is done in the most sustainable way.
As well as championing sustainability in the drinks industry, Avallen also have a mission to save the bees, donating to the Bumble Bee Conservation Trust with each bottle sold in the UK and they have committed to planting 10,000 flowering plants in their first 3 years of business.
