Research carried out by the IWSR earlier this year found that the growth rates of the low- and no-alcohol category outperformed the overall UK total beverage alcohol market between 2022 and 2023. This is being partly driven by the ongoing consumer trend for moderation as well as consumers seeking value which, thanks to changes in the duty regime, can be found in lower ABV products.
