Mission-led ethical spirits producer, FAIR has launched two new delicious SKUs to join the already stellar range of flavoured liqueurs and quality spirits. Both take inspiration from traditional Mexican ingredients. First up is the new Chipotle Liqueur, which gives a burst of smoke and spice, whilst the new Oaxaca Whiskey, distilled in Mexico from ancestral blue corn, is a welcome newbie on the increasingly popular world whisky stage.

These new SKUs have helped FAIR to secure a new listing in Shoreditch hotspot, BIBO, with the support of Mangrove Global. The listing comes after the brand also won an array of accolades collected from some of the world’s most prestigious spirits competitions and awards. FAIR’s Passion Fruit and Café Liqueurs won Gold at the New Orleans Spirits Competition, with the ever-popular Passion Fruit and Elderflowers liqueurs gaining recognition at the International BTI awards. The Class Report 2024 also listed FAIR liqueurs amongst the top 10 selling brands, and as the Bartender’s Favourite brand.

BIBO will list no less than five SKUs from FAIR’s range, including Oaxaca Whisky, Juniper Gin, Quinoa Vodka, Rum XO Belize, and the brand’s Acai Liqueur. The spirits and liqueurs will be featured in various cocktails on the venue’s much-loved menu and for every cocktail sold, £1 will be donated to the Fair Trade Foundation.

Paul Bungener, Europe – UK Sales Director

We wanted to expand our range and listings so the introduction of these new SKUs and awards, along with Mangrove’s support, has helped us achieve that. BIBO is a chain that’s as synonymous with quality as it is authenticity – and in that respect it’s an ideal venue for our range of spirits and liqueurs.

As the leading Fair Trade spirit brand, it’s important for us to work with partners who are aligned with our values – including venues like BIBO who value ethically produced, flavourful ingredients.

Alongside the expansion of the range, this year has been punctuated by numerous successes for FAIR. The range has long been a firm favourite of bartenders and the on-trade, and this has been recognised in the awards they have secured this year.

Nick Gillett, Managing Director, Mangrove Global said:

We know that consumers are caring more and more about brand ethics – when it comes to the planet and people. There aren’t many brands going to the lengths that FAIR do, to create products that are not only delicious, but also doing a lot of good in the world.

This latest listing with BIBO will get FAIR’s marvelous liquids on more lips and showcase how agile the range is to movers and shakers of the on-trade.

FAIR was founded in 2009, and since its conception the company’s ethos has been to create a spirit brand that has a positive impact on the planet and its people. In practice, this means the brand is Fair Trade certified, adheres to over 200 standards associated with Fair Trade, and was the first spirits brand in the world to do so. The company also donates 1% of revenue into community development funds that support the communities, where their ingredients are farmed, and production takes place.
