Luxury department store, Harvey Nichols, is adding a new pre-mix cocktail to its own label range in time for Valentines Day. Good Old Fashioned Love continues its collaboration with premium spirits distributor, Mangrove UK, and White Label Cocktails. The cocktail will be available in stores nationwide and online today, Friday 24th January 2020 in both 100ml and 700ml bottles.
This exciting new cocktail introduces Pampelle to the Harvey Nichols own label range, with a cocktail that combines Pampelle stirred with strawberry-infused Old Forester Bourbon, light muscovado sugar, aromatic bitters and orange oils.
Rob Graves, Head of Food & Drink Buying at Harvey Nichols, said:
“Our own label range of pre-mixed drinks has been a huge success, capturing the appetite of consumers for great tasting cocktails that can be easily served at home. Our collaboration with the team at White Label Cocktails and Mangrove UK has led to an injection of creativity and expertise resulting in a portfollio of quailty drinks that our customers love.”
James Trevellion, Founder of White Label Cocktails, added:
“Our rationale for Valentines was to create a truly gender neutral cocktail that can be served in a both a perceived masculine and feminine way. The deep and flavoursome Old Fashioned acts as the canvas for the tart freeze-dried strawberries and bitter gratefruit in this romantic twist on a true classic. It can be served on the rocks ‘Old Fashioned’ style or in a champagne flute topped with Rosé Champagne.”
Tim Dunlop, Regional Account Manager, Mangrove UK, said:
“We’re always keen to identify new opportunities to introduce premium spirits to new audiences in accessible ways. Pre-mix cocktails have a definite role to play in the market: they allow consumers to trial new tastes and flavours without needing to invest themselves in all the ingredients, with the confidence that the serve will be just right.”
The range of pre-mix cocktails are priced at £6 for a 100ml serve and £35 for 700ml. Good Old Fashioned Love will be available until the end of February.
The latest collaboration builds on the success of the current range (Old Fashioned, Negroni, Vesper Martini, Espresso Martini and the festive Blood Orange and Clove Negroni) which launched in August 2019.
